GRANSHAW

Granshaw are a Kentucky groove metal act who lean into their sense of Southern brutality. With over a decade of experience under their collective belts they have emerged as one of the biggest bands in their state. Bringing in a variety of influences drawing from their diverse backgrounds, the band has cultivated a unique brand of punishingly heavy groove metal. Fusing the likes of lamb of God, Crowbar, Emmure, and of course the almighty Pantera-Granshaw are truly among the last of a dying breed.

A veritable band of brothers, Granshaw have had each other‘s back‘s through thick and thin. The south central Kentucky scene is not kind to the faint of heart. It has taken a special dedication to remain true to the cause over there long career. However the band have stayed dedicated to each other and even dropped several EPs over their career. Their dedication has also seen them share stages with everyone from Phil Anselmo and the Illegals to Trivium by way of King Parrot and GWAR. In short-they are a staple of the Kentucky metal scene. Granshaw have their eyes on the prize and refuse to give into adversity.

2020 sees the band preparing to release a new brutal EP, playing more shows, and taking the world by storm. With bold ambitions of finding the team it takes to succeed, Granshaw know that they have put in the hours to merit world domination. Granshaw have no room for egos or any of the other rockstar bullshit that so often cripples other bands. Instead they bring a hard driving groove metal sound and a passion for the pit that none of their peers dare match. Often imitated and never bested, Granshaw are, and will remain south central Kentucky’s heavy-hitters.
